frisbee

Frisbee is a blogging utility. It is written purely in ASP and uses MS Access databases. It requires no software to be installed on the webserver, other than standard webserver services.

It has standard blogging features, such as comments and Trackback, as well as some other features like an RSS plug-in that allows you to display information from any site with an RSS feed, or even personalized feeds from services like Flickr and Netflix. Frisbee also features AutoLinker™ which will automatically convert words you specify into hyperlinks. For instance, if you blog about your friend Fred, Fred's name can be turned into a link to his blog or MySpace profile, or any website you choose.

Frisbee is currently in it's Alpha stages, currently only being implemented on Frobba.com and Rate-Everything.com.

Once it is completed and is in it's Beta stages, Frisbee will be released as open source, free of charge.

Frisbee. Throw it out there.
